  • Acted as technical project manager of corporation-wide COVID-19 telehealth program on behalf of C-suite stakeholders by leading clinical, financial, and technological workgroups within 5 corporate hospitals.

  • Utilized lean methodology to identify waste in supply chain and develop workflows resulting in cost savings and labor reductions of 20%.

  • Appointed as project lead on behalf of COO for projects performed by staff and external contractors.

  • Maintained strict quality indicators adhering to policies of the Joint Commission and the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services. Continual readiness satisfied inspectors during two separate surveys.

• • Developed new databases, matrixes, and tools to assign clinical staff within 26 nursing units based on acuity and competency to improve hospital budget performance with respect to patient satisfaction.

Community Experience

Vernon Town Council Member,  2023 to Present

• • Working with 11 other Town Council members, the Town Council holds exclusive legislative power within the town, with authority to enact, amend, or repeal ordinances in line with the town charter, state constitution, and statutes as led by the Mayor.

  • Ensure ordinances remain in effect for a maximum of 10 years unless renewed, after which they are repealed.

  • Contract for services and facilities with federal, state, or local agencies, or collaborate with other political subdivisions to provide services.

  • Incorporate nationally recognized codes, rules, and regulations into ordinances by reference and ensure public access to these materials.

  • Manage charges for town services and oversee statutory functions previously assigned to selectmen, unless delegated elsewhere. 

Chair, Town of Vernon’s Water Pollution Control Authority, 2014 to Present

• • Promoted from Vice Chair in 2019 as recommended by Mayor of Vernon.

  • Awarded a bid to an engineering firm to construct a $135.6 million facility upgrade plan to satisfy new regulations enforced by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

  • Meets bi-weekly on the Change Control Board in service of the 120,000 residents.

  • Annually furnishes zero-based budget of nearly $6 million with facility members and municipal leaders.

Fundraising Chair, UCONN Global Brigades, 2012 to 2013

• • Funded and operated medical missions to Nicaragua in January in 2013 and Ghana in May 2013.

  • Increased clinic efficiency and operation in regard to patient flow, clinical staff, and logistical support
